Specifications

Toughened Safety Glass is manufactured by placing panels in a toughening furnace. The product is heated to extremely high temperatures and then rapidly cooled. This option is up to five times stronger than standard annealed variants.

On impact, this product breaks into small blunt edged fragments therefore reducing the risk of injury. Note that this must be used in certain critical locations as outlined in Australian Standards AS1288.
